About me
For the past two decades, environmental education and conservation communications positions with Parks Canada and CPAWS Southern Alberta, have bolstered Sheri's belief that all humans are better humans when they wander, wonder and play outdoors! Possessing an honours degree in Canadian Studies from the University of Guelph, she is an accredited Professional Interpreter and Environmental Education Specialist renowned for her infectious enthusiasm and wide-eyed love of nature.
Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society (CPAWS) is Canada’s voice for wilderness. The mission of the Southern Alberta Chapter is to safeguard, connect, and expand parks and wilderness through education, engagement, and collaboration with Albertans. CPAWS award-wining education experiences are hands-on, fun, inclusive, science-based, and entirely about inspiring and empowering ecological connection, change & changemakers!
