About me
Dr. Sarah MacDonald specializes in memory and forensic interviewing at the Luna Child & Youth Advocacy Centre in Calgary. She conducts forensic interviews on request for cases of sexual and physical assault for police organizations in Southern Alberta. She regularly provides education and training related to interviewing practices. She was recognized for her work by being named as one of the Top 40 under 40 in Calgary in 2021. She serves as a Director of the Board of the Alberta Criminal Justice Association. Her research has examined cognitive processes underlying investigative interview techniques, psychological-based investigative practices, disclosure of sexual abuse in forensic settings, and memory. Dr. MacDonald has presented her research internationally and is a TEDx speaker.”
