About me
Mrs. Lindsay Avramovic began her teaching career with Christ The Redeemer (CTR) at a K-12 school in Canmore. During that time, she served as an elementary teacher before being appointed to Vice Principal in 2017. In addition to her role as Vice Principal, she assumed portfolios in the areas of Learning Support and English Language Learning. In 2019, she was appointed as the Director of Catholic Education where she served the district in providing faith formation opportunities for students and staff, overseeing curriculum, and advocating for Catholic education. In the spring of 2022, she was appointed as the Vice Principal at a K-9 school in De Winton. In addition to her teaching and leadership roles within CTR, Mrs. Avramovic has also served as a Sessional Instructor at St. Mary’s University in the Bachelor of Education program. Inspired by leaders and mentors, Mrs. Avramovic pursued her Masters in Administration and Educational Leadership at the University of New Brunswick, graduating in the spring of 2021. Eager to continue her pursuit of lifelong learning, Mrs. Avramovic is presently completing her Doctorate in Education while on maternity leave at Western University with a critical focus on theories of educational leadership and K-12 organizations. Mrs. Avramovic has also served on a number of ATA committees including the PDTCA Convention Board, ATA Local 29, TWC representative, and co-assistant for the Religious & Moral Education Council Annual Conference. She currently sits on the executive for both the PDTCA Convention Board and the Council for School Leadership.
