About me
Kathy Miller has 30+ years of experience as a classroom teacher (grades 4-12). With post-graduate training in curriculum (UVic) and technology education (SFU), Kathy currently coordinates the online program Kids Boost Immunity (KBI) working with specialist teachers from Canadian provinces who over the past six years have co-developed hundreds of curriculum-based lessons and thousands of support resources. Kathy coordinates KBI's National Teacher Advisory Group, a group of practicing teachers, who work on key, relevant curriculum topics primarily during the summer. In this way, KBI is able to keep current and continually improve to be a meaningful and engaging resource for teachers to support diverse learners.
