About me
Danna currently holds two very exciting roles. She is the Executive Director of the Foothills Fetal Alcohol Society, a nonprofit Society that provides services to rural communities in Southern Alberta, as well as being one of 10 Instructional Coaches in the province of Alberta with the WRaP2 project. She began her career working with children, youth and adults with Learning Disabilities, continued working with children in a variety of school settings and worked as a manager with a rural agency that places people with developmental challenges in inclusive work and community settings. Danna and her family are residential support providers to a young man with developmental challenges.
Danna believes that behaviors are often misunderstood and enjoys facilitating experiences that lead to empathy and understanding. She believes that with compassion, understanding and a creative spirit working and/or living with someone with complicated behaviors can be a beautiful thing!
