About me
Olivia Nannan and Alicia Huculak are both teachers at Muriel Clayton Middle School at Rocky View Schools in Airdrie, Alberta. Both are passionate educators and change agents committed to dismantling systemic racism and other systems of oppression personally and professionally. Olivia's journey as a woman of colour enriches her teaching practice and personal learning journey, enabling her to provide nuanced perspectives and cultivate a sense of empathy and understanding among her students. Alicia is currently completing her Master of Education in Social Justice and actively works to dismantle institutional biases in both her classroom and her own studies. With a shared vision of promoting radical change in education, they have dedicated their careers to fostering inclusive, equitable, and transformative learning environments.
